It's that time of year again! Back-to-school season is so exciting and filled with good memories for me. I love everything about it! Checking the lists to find out who the new teacher is, getting school supplies, laying out that all-important first day of school outfit and new shoes, the smell of new books and freshly sharpened pencils! Sigh. Honestly, I miss going to school myself! I felt like this all the way from Kindergarten through my last year of law school!

This year I have a big 1st grader going to school for full days for the first time and I'm honestly sort of living vicariously through her! It's so fun to watch them grow and she has inherited my enthusiasm for the start of the school year as well! For now, at least!

Time to Celebrate Going Back-to-School!

What better way to celebrate that with a Back-to-School party? You could do a feast the night or weekend before the first day of school, or save the celebration for the end of that first big week and invite some new or old friends over to give everybody a chance to catch up on what it was like! Or even do a drop-off party where you get together with other parent friends on that first day after dropping the kids off for class!
