2016 has been a big year for House of Nash Eats!  There has been so much awesome growth (both in terms of blog traffic, finding my blogging voice, and improving my food photography) and I’m excited for what 2017 will bring.  I want to say a huge Thank You! to the readers who have supported my hobby with their comments and encouragement and by following along.Today is all about celebrating the best posts of the year – the ones that had the most page views, pinterest pins, and reader comments.  They have been made over and over, not just by me but by many of you now and I hope that some of them are new family favorites in your homes like they are in mine.  Some of these were even surprises to me when I saw how well they were received!  I think a disproportionate number of these are from later in the year as readership has grown quite a lot since I first started House of Nash Eats back in June.  So tomorrow I hope to post another Top 10 list of some of my personal favorites from the year that maybe didn’t get the attention they deserve!

But without further ado, here are the Top 10 Best Recipes from House of Nash Eats in 2016!

5. Perfect Peanut Butter Blossoms

Simple, classic and iconic, these peanut butter blossoms are Christmas baking at it's best! They are soft & chewy (and stay that way!), coated in crackly, sparkling sugar, and have a chocolate Hershey's Kiss in the center of each cookie. They are one of our all-time favorite Christmas cookies!

4. Pear, Pomegranate & Swiss Salad with Poppyseed Dressing

3. Bombay House Style Chicken Tikka Masala

Tender chunks of chicken marinated in yogurt and spices, then grilled and served up in a creamy, spicy tomato based sauce with garlic naan and rice. Chicken Tikka Masala is the most popular Indian dish in the Western world and for good reason - it's unbelievably delicious.

2. How to Cook Perfect Hard-Boiled Eggs Every Time (who knew this post would do so well?! Any other how-to’s out there that you would like to know about?)

Perfect hard-boiled eggs have whites that are firm but not rubbery and yolks that are cooked and still creamy, without a layer of grey around them. This tutorial shows how to make perfect hard-boiled eggs, every time.
