Homemade Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs

What You'll Need:

Powdered Sugar Creamy Peanut Butter Salted Butter Dry Roasted Peanuts Pure Vanilla Extract Milk Melting Chocolate Wafers

Use your food processor or blender to chop up the peanuts into very fine pieces. Don't go too far or you will turn it into peanut butter.

In a large bowl, beat the powdered sugar, peanut butter, very finely chopped peanuts, and vanilla together. Add milk, as necessary, to get the mixture to come together.

Use a small cookie scoop to scoop out balls of the peanut butter mixture that are about 2 tablespoons in size.

Create an oval by rolling them between the palms of your hands and flatten out into an egg shape. Chill the eggs in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 15-20 second intervals, stirring well in between, until the chocolate is mostly melted.

Pull the chilled peanut butter eggs out of the freezer and dip them in the melted chocolate one at a time.

Use a spoon to cover the top of each egg in melted chocolate or flip them with your forks, then transfer to a baking sheet lined with a clean sheet of parchment paper.

Drizzle with chocolate or use a small round piping tip to write personalized names in chocolate on top of each egg.

These personalized eggs are a wonderful treat to serve next to each plate at Easter dinner, or gift to friends and neighbors!

These Homemade Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs taste like the real deal, except even better! They have the right blend of sweet and salty, with the perfect peanut butter filling and smooth, creamy chocolate on the outside.
