Peanut Butter Sauce for Ice Cream

Calling all peanut butter lovers!  All you need are a handful of pantry ingredients to make this easy Peanut Butter Ice Cream Topping that is the perfect sauce for drizzling over ice cream, pancakes, brownies, or used for dipping fruit.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 Tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Combine peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk in a small saucepan over low heat.
  • Stir until smooth, then add milk and stir until combined. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in vanilla and salt, then transfer to a jar.

Notes

The peanut butter sauce will thicken as it cools. Store covered on the counter. To make it pourable again, reheat in the microwave for 15-30 seconds, then stir.
