Connecticut

These recipes showcase just some of the foods that Connecticut is famous for. “The Constitution State” and was the 5th state to join the United States of America in declaring its independence. It’s the birthplace of the Webster dictionary, which was first published there in 1806.

Well-known foods that have close ties to Connecticut include Snickerdoodle Cookies, Apple Cider, and Apple Cider Donuts. But I also included Spaghetti and Meatballs because Connecticut has one of the largest Italian-Americans populations per capita in the U.S.A. It’s also known for steamed cheeseburgers, grinders, white clam pizza, and apparently really good hot dogs.

Your search for the best Snickerdoodle Cookies recipe is over!  This easy snickerdoodle recipe is my go-to for this cinnamon-sugar coated, soft and chewy sugar cookie recipe that is a perennial classic!
