Patriotic Trifle with Berries
This is one of the most unfussy 4th of July recipes I’ve seen that doesn’t require meticulous placement of fruit or extensive use of food dye to create something seasonal to satisfy everybody’s craving for the red-white, and blue. This recipe is definitely a crowd-pleaser and the presentation is absolutely stunning!
My husband and kids LOVE when I make a trifle. I think it’s partly because it’s obviously such a yummy and fresh treat (and healthy because fruit, right?). But also the presentation is just so much fun and makes the trifle really visually appealing. If you don’t have a glass trifle bowl, don’t sweat it! Any glass bowl will work and you could even assemble this in a 9×13-inch baking dish if you need to.
