Arkansas

These recipes showcase just some of the foods that Arkansas is famous for. Arkansas is known as “The Natural State” and was the 25th state to join the U.S.A. It’s also home to Hot Springs National Park and is the only state to produce diamonds.

Arkansas is known for Southern Hush Puppies, Arkansas Possum Pie, and Southern Biscuits with Chocolate Gravy. It’s also the leading producer of rice in the U.S.A., so I shared a Skillet Lemon Chicken & Rice to showcase one of Arkansas’s best crops.

Fried catfish, spinach (the self-proclaimed “World Capital of Spinach” is in Alma, Arkansas), pulled pork, and coleslaw are also all popular foods you might enjoy on a visit to Arkansas!
