The Best Gift Ideas for Foodies
I love everything on this list and I hope these kitchen gift ideas can help you find the perfect gift! Some of my favorites on this list that I use all the time are my Air fryer , my favorite Victorinox Serrated Knife , and my Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker. Now get shopping and pick out some of the best kitchen gifts for Christmas!
- Victorinox Serrated Knife – This Victorinox Swiss Classic Serrated knife is seriously the best. I love giving them as gifts and people always RAVE about them. They’re sharp, serrated and sturdy. I love them so much. They’re perfect for cutting tomatoes. I have 4 and they are my most used knife.
- Cheese Grater – Another kitchen item I didn’t think I needed but now can’t live without. It grates cheese like a dream without any effort. It’s magic. So easy my 10 year old can do it.
- Oil Set – I feel strongly that cooking and baking should be as convenient as possible. For me that means a little cooking station with my oils, salts, utensils, and S&P ready to go at all times. This oil set is cute and functional and so handy to have. I put olive oil in one and avocado oil in the other. They both equally get used a ton!
- Salt Dish – To reiterate my little cooking station, a salt dish is necessary. A cute salt dish is even better. I love this little dish with the little spoon. I put either a good flaky finishing salt like this Maldon salt in the dish to top off a good batch of cookies. Or I fill it with a good cooking salt like Redmond Real Salt which is the best of the best mineral salt.
- Food Chopper – This food chopper was a gift to me and now I give to everyone else because sheesh how did I live without one. And I love this particular chopper because I love that you can pull it out like a drawer. It chops like a ninja and makes prepping for dinner actually fun. Bonus, the kids can totally help chop with this chopper!
- Geometry Tea Towels – I love these towels! They wash well, don’t stink and have the CUTEST designs. They are perfect for gifting and anyone appreciates a nice, fun, new towel to display.
- Food Thermometer – This one little guy will make you a confident cook. This is a great gift for really everybody. And bonus it’s inexpensive. Who doesn’t want to make sure their chicken is thoroughly cooked or the pork hasn’t dried out. Get juicy perfect meat every time with accurate temperature reading.
- Pizza Stone – If you don’t own a pizza stone are you even living? This would be so fun to give as a gift with some pepperoni, my favorite pizza crust recipe, some of my favorite hot honey to drizzle on top, homemade pizza sauce, and some cheese. Everything you need for a delicious pizza night!
- Frother – I LOVE this frother. I use it everyday. I love the stand it comes with for easy clean up. This is a must when mixing my protein drinks. Or use it for your hot chocolate to make a nice frothy cup of cocoa!
- Salad Bowl – This large salad bowl is simple yet very functional. I love that the tongs fit right into the lid so it’s perfect for traveling to dinner parties, social events, potlucks, and so much more. Turn the lid upside down and it can be used as a mini cutting board for any last minute chopping. Like I said, cute and functional!
- Pancake Warmer – I love this pancake/tortilla warmer and have actually gifted it to several friends and family as well. It’s perfect for keeping my freshly made pancakes warm. I also use it for crepes, tortillas, and really anything I want to serve warm at the dinner table. I love it so much.
- Baking Dish – Everyone needs a nice baking dish. This Staub baking dish set is beautiful and well made. I love that the 9X13 dish is a bit deeper so it’s perfect for a hearty lasagna. Staub is known for their French Premium Cookware so you know it must be good and will last a long time.
- Food Processor – This is one of those gadgets that does it all. It can knead, chop, shred, mix, slice, puree, mince. It can do anything! It’s perfect for making dips, salsa, guacamole, hummus, pesto, aioli’s, grinding graham crackers or Oreos, shredding carrots for cake, and I could go on and on! For me it is a must have.
- Hexclad Pans – I started with just one after hearing rave reviews and ended up buying it in three more sizes. They aren’t cheap pans but they cook evenly, clean up easily, and are absolutely fantastic to use.
- KitchenAid Mixer – A splurge for sure but oh so worth it. I use this almost every day. Mixing cakes, making cookies, whipping cream and frosting. There are so many fun colors and this thing will last you years. Mine is going on now for 10+ years. I also love having two bowls and LOVE this glass bowl with lid. Especially for making frostings or whip cream. I love putting the lid on and sticking it right into the fridge.
- Air Fryer – This is one appliance we use all the time. It works great for reheating leftovers, cooking salmon, cooking hot dogs, and much more. It really does work so well and I can’t even fathom baking little fingerling potatoes any other way because the air fryer cooks them perfectly. Nice and crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. The air fryer really is a must have!
- Dutch Oven Cooking Pot – This is a major splurge but for good reason. It’s beautiful, finely made and will last you forever. Keep in mind they have several different sizes with different price points. I do have another option if you are looking for a good cast iron cooking pot with not as steep of a price tag. This Lodge Dutch Oven comes in beautiful colors and has every feature the Le Creuset has, just not the sticker price.
- Ice Cream Maker – With over 40 ice cream recipes on my site, it’s no secret I love ice cream. This would be such a fun gift with a couple of ice cream recipes and fun toppings. You could add some cute bowls or maybe even a nice ice cream scoop as well.
