These are the best recipes for some of our favorite German foods. I studied German through high school and college and ended up living there with my husband during law school while working at an international law firm in Frankfurt, Germany. So these German recipes are near and dear to my heart and we make them often when we are wishing we could visit but aren’t able to.

Need a suggestion? My personal favorite German dish is Jagerschnitzel with Spaetzle and Traditional German Red Cabbage [Rotkohl]. And there are so many delicious German desserts to choose from, but my husband always requests German Apple Cake.
